By creating an account or using Facet ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Facet is a free daily word puzzle game available at playfacet.com. We provide the game on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
2. Accounts
You may create an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email account linked to your Facet account. One account per person; automated or bulk account creation is not permitted.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play the game or access the Service
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Share puzzle solutions publicly before the end of the puzzle day
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
4. Intellectual Property
The Facet name, branding, puzzle designs, and all associated content are the property of the Service operator. You may share your results (e.g., completion time, streak) but may not reproduce or redistribute the game itself.
5. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with OECD privacy guidelines.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at contact@playfacet.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
